Advisory Board

The Advisory board is a group of members; some are from the university itself and others are from outside such as business entrepreneurs or from the government who shares the same vision and wants to work on the same mission that is to maintain quality education imparted by the university. The Chairman or Chancellor appoints the Advisory Board members from those candidates who are recommended by the Dean. The key role of the Advisory Board is to advise the Board of Governors on maintaining a healthy relationship in the university in respect of imparting education, skill development, collaboration with external organizations, trusts, NGOs, etc.

The Advisory board of the university works as a primary advisory body that provides advice and counseling for the college’s academic and professional programs. It helps to reduce the gap between academia and external organizations by participating in academic functions. The advisory board can suggest, give feedback, and provide guidance and information to the Board of Governors, VC, Deans, and HODs on a specific area of expertise to achieve academic excellence. Unlike the Board of Governors, the advisory board does not have the power to vote or participate in appointment, promotion, and dismissal of the high profile members of the university.
